REVITALISASI TAMAN KOTA MENJADI RUANG PUBLIK INTERAKTIF MELALUI PERENCANAAN AKTIVITAS BERBASIS KOMUNITAS STUDI KASUS: TAMAN KOTA KEPAHIANG

Taman kota merupakan elemen penting ruang terbuka hijau perkotaan yang berfungsi sebagai wadah interaksi sosial, penyangga ekologis, dan pembentuk identitas kota. Namun, banyak taman kota di kota kecil Indonesia mengalami degradasi fungsi akibat minimnya perawatan, lemahnya pengelolaan, serta perencanaan ruang yang tidak berbasis aktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya pengaktifan kembali Taman Kota Kabupaten Kepahiang melalui pendekatan perencanaan aktivitas berbasis komunitas. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus, melalui analisis kondisi eksisting tapak, pola aktivitas pengguna, serta kajian dokumen Master Plan Taman Kota Kabupaten Kepahiang Tahun 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan kualitas taman tidak hanya bersifat fisik, tetapi juga sosial dan fungsional, ditandai oleh rendahnya intensitas aktivitas, zonasi ruang yang terfragmentasi, serta lemahnya keterlibatan masyarakat. Perencanaan aktivitas berbasis komunitas yang diintegrasikan dengan penataan ruang terbukti mampu meningkatkan vitalitas taman, rasa kepemilikan masyarakat, dan keberlanjutan fungsi ruang publik.
